Hiking & Camping (Scotland)

My Trips

West Highland Way

The West Highland Way (WHW) is a famous 100 mile hike going from Glasgow to Fort William in Scotland. I tried & failed this hike before successfully completing it in Summer 2024.

The Pentlands

I live close to The Pentlands (Edinburgh), which makes this a go-to spot for quick nights away camping. With Scottish Laws, we can wild-camp in the woods, which is perfect for getting a peaceful camp on-demand.

Yellowcraig Beach

Yellowcraig Beach is a great option for a beach camp close to Edinburgh. Wild-camp spots are difficult to identify, however it’s worth the venture for sunset views & wild-camping fun!

Glen Coe

Glen Coe is just a beauty, and it has many corners to visit. Maybe one of the reasons it’s such a stand-out place is because it’s on-route to destinations in the Scottish Highlands that the world flock to!

Loch Lomond

I’ve spent many nights near Loch Lomond camping & hiking the nearby Munros. I’ve walked the High Road, and I’ve walked the Load Road… a number of times, as it’s included in the West Highland Way route which I have completed.

Scottish Borders

The Scottish Borders is great for wild-camping and site-camping. Places like Peebles, Hawick & Innerleithen are easy access for those living nearby and looking for a different wild-camp spot.
